Go out the front door, turn left and walk for three minutes and you're in the centre of Stoke.
It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Staffordshire University. and the bus to Keele leaves from around the corner. Meanwhile, a giant Sainsbury's is so close you don't even need to 'borrow' the trolley ;o)

Connecting buses from Stoke will take you all over the county, including the Peak District and Alton Towers...
From the train station you can travel the length-and-bredth of the country in less time than you might think - London in 1hr 30mins, Manchester in 35mins, Birmingham in 40mins.

Butler Street has an interesting past. It's one of the oldest streets in the city and for over a decade was the entrance to one of the world's oldest football clubs, Stoke City FC. The old Victoria Ground was home to the local team for a longer period than any other club in the history of English Football. In May 1997, Stoke played their final match against West Brom, before moving in the summer to the new purpose-built Britannia Stadium.
Today Bulter Street is a pleasant mix of student and residential properties. Since buying the property in 2005, we've invested in making the house a comfortable and friendly home. We really do think 2 Butler Street is the best student house in Stoke.
